Positive phrases, for instance “I can”, helps us to feel that we can. Positive phrases in our self talk motivates, inspires and guide us. Cultivate positive phrases and entrain the mind to respond positively to challenges, and achieve success, happiness, and peace of mind.

We are positive when our inner commentary or conversations in our heads, expressed or unspoken, are positive. Negative self talk represents a negative belief system that undermines our happiness and ability to succeed. When things go wrong the inner commentator of a negative person will express negative phrases such as “I am a loser” or “the world is a terrible place” – the opposite of “I can” or “the world is full of possibilities”.

Ingrain positive phrases into your self talk.
Become aware of poor thinking habits, and replace them with positive affirmations or positive phrases.
