The Infinite Way Restorative Yoga Class & Meditation
with instructions and video on the Playlist & Sequence
Using the video
My focus in this session is do-able postures with breath, meditation and relaxation practices. The style is an easy although thorough, holistic, integral yoga practice based on gentle loosening, non-acrobatic, therapeutic vinyassa flow. Gentle yoga aids deep loosening, profound energetic shifts through release of old bodymind and emotional patterns that doesn’t serve us. When we release such blockages many of the causes of persistent, chronic pain, injuries, illnesses and self-limiting beliefs are also released.
More advance practitioners can do the session with a firm sense of exercise and still develop mental and physical stamina and focus, to enhance agile strength and athletic progress.
Please note that the video itself is not a beginner’s yoga instruction, the poses are not explained and no cautions are given, i.e. contraindications are not provided. The visuals are accompanied by detailed verbal instruction. This makes it possible for a practitioner with experience of yoga, or anyone somewhat familiar with yoga, to follow the session mostly by listening to the audio, only to glance at the screen when not sure of the voice directions.
